Template:Currentdaymonth/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Currentdaymonth (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

The {{Currentdaymonth}} template takes no parameters and returns the current day of the month and the current month name, like this:

{{Currentdaymonth}} renders: 1 Abrit

Note that the same date can be shown for up to a week on a page since Wikipedia caches pages and only re-renders them under one of the follow circumstances:

1. Someone visits the page and it has not been re-rendered in a week;
2. Someone visits the page and manually purges or edits it.
